So much for the playmat

I suppose in all fairness, I should mention that I did read on the customer reviews section for this playmat that a couple of parents complained of their little ones being able to disassemble the mat, however, I just didn't think we would have to worry about that. Wrong! After having this thing for three months, Tyler figured out today that he could tear it apart and not only that, but it provided as a great teething tool! And speaking of teething- we finally have some action!! I think it's a race to see whether we get a top or bottom tooth first. His top gums are looking swollen and very white while his bottom has a red bump on it. He has been drooling non-stop the last couple of days. I've said it before, but this time I think... we may really have a tooth soon!

During our trip to the ranch last weekend, Tyler grabbed a glass of water that was sitting in the truck console and it tipped into my purse where I had my camera. It managed to work throughout the day, but quit that evening. Not having a camera at arms reach is like..... well, it's bad!! The camera is part of my daily accessory now. I'm researching new ones to replace it and in the mean time, I pulled out my old Cannon. I haven't used it very much because I've never been impressed with the printed picture quality. I've been trying to figure out the settings on it, so here are a few pictures of me playing around and testing it out. Having a camera constantly in Tyler's face is obviously turning him into quite the ham! :-)
