Easter at Mamma's

My Grandma is back at home and she's really not doing well at all. :-( Her two sisters, Barb and Bernice, brought her home this past Wednesday and it's shocking to see how fast this horrible disease is taking over her body. They found that the cancer has spread a little to her adrenal glands, ovary and brain and she started a new therapy treatment that has her pretty weak and not feeling well. It makes me so sad. We are spending every day in Bastrop again and we decided to hunt Easter eggs and have a nice Easter dinner there. It was fun to have all the cousins together to hunt for eggs. We’ve never done that before and the kids really enjoyed it. This will be a great memory for them! Unfortunately, Mamma is very weak and very tired and she didn’t get to see the kids hunting for their eggs. She spent most of the time in her room, either watching TV or napping. I wish she would have been able to enjoy the day more with us, but she knew that we were all there for her and that’s all that mattered!
