1st day of 1st Grade

How can I have a first grader?!? Summer flew by! Tyler wasn't that excited to get back into the swing of school things, but he was excited to reconnect with his friends. There was a different level of confidence in him walking into school this year. He knows the ropes and he's not the "little kid" on campus anymore. He proudly walked right past the kinder hallway and I secretly wanted to cry. He passed out a few fist bumps to friends and went to his desk and I secretly wanted to cry again. Change is HARD! He was all smiles when I picked him up that afternoon and said he had a "great" first day. We celebrated by enjoying ice cream.
