It feels like we're off to a slower Christmas start this year. We've had some crazy winds or crappy rain and/or cold weather, which delayed us getting our tree and doing our outside lights. Travis still hasn't been able to finish working on the lights. I know that we needed the rain and we've been complaining about the Texas heat for so long, but my schedule and Mother Nature's schedule have seriously not been on the same page. We're getting there now and I'm happy that our tree is done! :-)
I pulled out all the tree decorations and let the kids play with them while Travis was at work. Tyler decided he was going to pretend like HE was the Christmas tree and decorated himself with lights and garland and then moved on to decorating his sister and that kept both of them occupied for what seemed like forever. I had a giant tangled mess of everything to sort through when it was all said and done, but they had a blast and it was so sweet to watch them play together.
Tyler had a very interesting approach to hanging ornaments this year...
Can you guess which side of the tree Tyler decorated?? ;-)
Finished!
Another stocking on the mantle this year! ;-)
