It's our first visit to see Santa in seven years and not one single tear was shed by someone. Is that good or bad?? HaHa! I really knew going into it that there wouldn't be any tears this year. Kinley is too old for me to force her to sit on Santa's lap now. She would probably smack me upside the head if I tried. She was still a little unsure (hence the concerned smile), but she went all on her own! And I secretly wore a black top to hold Brooklyn in the picture if she got upset. She's just too stinkin' sweet to make her cry. That's horrible, right?? It was funny when Tyler and Kinley cried, but wouldn't have been with Brooklyn. Differences between turkeys and non-turkeys. :-) In the end, we got a cute picture and Tyler and Kinley gave Santa their wish lists. Topping Tyler's list was a Minecraft Skeleton and topping Kinley's list was an Elsa doll. And then they rode the train several times!
We're keeping things moving over here and set up our Christmas tree today. I am so, so excited about it being Brooklyn's first Christmas! I just love Christmas time to begin with and it being a first Christmas for one of my babies is extra special!
"Photobomb" ...per Tyler. :)
Surprise... surprise, Kinley got an Elsa ornament this year.
Tyler picked out an Angry Birds ornament.
This cute picture was taken just 1/2 second before Kinley started being a turkey. Look at this face. How could she possibly be a turkey?!?
I have so many pictures to sort through~ I've been trying new settings, etc. on my camera. Here are a few that I love from playing around.
Bring on the holiday festivities! Tyler participated in the Buda Christmas parade with his Cub Scouts troop. He was so excited to be in his first parade and passing out candy.
He passed by pretty darn quick for a picture. That's him on the left. It was so sweet that he spotted out Kinley and ran over to her to give her some candy. xoxo
Tyler & Jacob having a little fun at the festival~
