Second grade hosted a Snack Shack (formerly the Sweet Shoppe) at school for the other grades/teachers to shop. This goes along with their economics unit that teaches them about goods, services, producers, consumers, needs and wants. Each class had to choose a healthy snack option and Kinley's class chose energy balls. She helped me make granola bars that actually turned out pretty good.
