April misc and iPhone pics

Someone got phase one braces.  Times have definitely changed!  "Brace face" and "metal mouth" aren't really a thing anymore.  Kids want braces and they look so freaking cute with them.  Kinley is the only kid in second grade with braces and while I was so worried that kids may give her a hard time, it was quite the opposite.  They told her how beautiful she was, they all wanted braces and kept asking her to smile so they could see them. Ha!

Recital costumes are in for B.  She likes one and is definitely not a fan of the either.  HA!

Second Grade Disney Play

Kinley played the cutest Cinderella that I ever did see in her Disney school play. She was so excited to actually get a part and that it was Cinderella! Second grade performed it two times for all of the grade levels at school and then again in the evening for family. Brooklyn and I got to see all three. :-) It was nice to sit back and just enjoy the show and *my kid* without having to take pictures of the entire thing for yearbook since the book is already done. Kinley did a fantastic job swirling and twirling about!

Brooklyn couldn't quite hang for the evening performance. ;-)

Sand Fest 2019 - Port A

We checked out the hype in Port Aransas this weekend for a little early birthday celebrating for Tyler - Sand Fest. I didn't realize that it was such a big event. The Island was packed, the restaurants were packed and the beach was packed with vendors, tourists and the coolest sandcastles! We had our own little tourist in tow. Kinley brought Flat Stanley on an adventure for school.

Kinley trying an oyster for the first time at Virginia's.  Yuck.  HaHa.
