June iPhone pics

Chuck-E-Cheese and birthday girls. :-)

Baby girl feeling pretty miserable. This is the day before I took her to Urgent Care.

Tyler got to go to work with Travis. Shortly after this pic was taken, he came down with the same crud that Brooklyn had and slept the rest of the time.

Pink Lemonade and Beer Party

After having to postpone Brooklyn and Travis' birthday party twice, they finally had their celebration and I'm pretty sure that Brooklyn hated everything about it. Okay, maybe not everything. She liked her snow cone, but that was pretty much it. She hated wearing her birthday hat, screamed when we sang Happy Birthday, seemed terrified of her cake and didn't want to open presents. She had been fussy since getting sick two weeks earlier and it carried right on into her celebration. She didn't want anything to do with anyone and only wanted Travis or myself to hold her. There were lots of tears. Since it was Travis' shin-dig as well, I tried to keep her, which meant that I didn't take pictures. :-( Half of these pictures are from a friend. I actually had a photographer booked to take pictures for the first scheduled party, but she wasn't available for the re-scheduled one. We had so many people come celebrate with us and I'm bummed that I wasn't able to get pictures of everyone. It was such a fun theme (Pink Lemonade and Beer) and I loved planning this party and there's not really any pictures to show all of the fun that was happening. We had a big jumpy house for the big kids, a little one for the little kids, bumper wheels, an Italian Ice snow cone stand, fajitas and Chuy's sides, and of course, lots of pink lemonade and beer. ;-) It really was fun and I wish that my sweet baby girl enjoyed it more. Travis had a good time, but because of the reschedule twice, some of his best friends weren't able to attend and I know he would have enjoyed it more had they been there. Oh, and did I mention the drizzly weather??! At the end of the day, all I can say is that I tried. :-) Happy Birthday!

She did enjoy her snow cone!

Kids had cupcakes and adults had these yummy cakes!

A few smiles after the party was over.

Opening presents the next morning!
