More dance fun

Brooklyn was all smiles and ready for her second dance class! She's too cute and I can't barely stand it sometimes!

First day of dance class

Brooklyn really enjoyed her short summer dance class, so we signed her up for her first year of regular combo (tap, ballet and tumbling). She's excited to have her little friend, Monroe, in class with her. Kinley is starting her 5th(!) year of dance. Her dance crew has slowly started falling apart, but she's taking a tap, ballet and jazz combo class with her friends, Makenzie, Neala and Syenna. Jazz is new this year and I think she's going to love it with all the sass she has to offer. ;-)

Leap with Friends

The girls and I went to see the movie, 'Leap' with some dance friends. Super, duper cute movie and inspiring for my little dancers. :-)

Pie in the Sky

We went to the first ever 'Pie in the Sky' in Kyle yesterday and it was so neat! I have had the hot air balloon festival in Albuquerque, NM on my radar for a long time and I'm sure with three little kiddos and our hectic lives, it will stay on the radar for a while. This was just 15 minutes down the road and we were up close and personal with several hot air balloons... the kids even touched them as they were inflating! Well, Tyler and Kinley did. Brooklyn freaked her freak as they were inflating and wanted to be as far away as possible. Travis stayed around the food and beer tent with her, while I took Tyler and Kinley up close. Since we came for the evening portion, we didn't get to see them take off (only in the early AM), but it was still a fun experience (for most of us)!
