MORE water fun

Surprise... surprise! It's more fun in the water! :-)

We can now enjoy pool time with Tyler in our own yard! I got a great deal on this little pool a couple of weeks ago and we finally set it up this past weekend. I love that it's small enough for Tyler to play in and large enough for us to lounge with him. Uncle Justin made a quick trip to Texas this weekend and Grammy came to hang out with us, so they were able to enjoy "new pool day" with us.

We met Julie and little Emily last week at a playdate that we both attended and we met up today for some fun at Deep Eddy pool. Emily is 17 months old and is such a tiny little thing. Tyler got along really well with her and he just adored her mom, Julie. We had a great time with them and already made plans to hang out next week!













It didn't take long for the kids to find the dirt pile. I think they played in the dirt longer than they did in the water! These are some really cute pictures that Julie got.

Fourth of July weekend

We had a great long holiday weekend (even though Travis had to work on Friday)! Tyler enjoyed shooting off some fireworks and watching a great fireworks show from our front yard that the neighbors put on. He was really cute clinging to us when the fireworks shot off and then clapped after each one was done. Cooper was a scaredy dog as usual. :-) And about the only thing to do to escape this Texas heat right now is to get in the water, so we did A LOT of that this weekend!
